Hopkins musical theater program needs financial help

The Hopkins School musical theater program needs help, according to spokeswoman Dee Dee Noble, because this year, in the midst of the pandemic, the program is being faced with many challenges.
“The biggest challenge is the financial support we would usually receive from event ticket sales,” Noble said. “The kids are our first priority. We are still able to provide them with a safe production this year, but funds are tight.
“If you, or anyone you know are willing to donate to our program please use the Musical’s Venmo account or send cash/check to Hopkins Public Schools ATTN: MEG VOS-MUSICAL to the address 400 Clark St., Hopkins, MI 49328.
Venmo information is @Hopkins-Musical. In the “What’s It For” section please provide first and last name “so we know who to thank! If you would like it to be an anonymous donation just type anonymous.”
Any business willing to donate has special business sponsorships where they will receive ad space this year in our program and on social media. Call Megan Vos @ 616-301-5109 or email megavos@hpsvikings.org for business sponsorship opportunities.
