Hopkins Quiz Bowl team qualifies for state tourney

Hopkins High School participated in the Allegan County Quiz Bowl League for the first time in 30 years thanks to Coach Ben Herrick and many parent and staff volunteers. The Varsity A Team finished the season with a 6-10 head-to-head record, also earning 6.5 additional points at Roundtable events. Though the team finished seventh in its league, they still qualified for the State Quiz Bowl Tournament April 13 at Michigan State University.
