The Hopkins varsity football team suffered its second straight loss, 34-30, at the hands of O-K Silver Conference rival Belding.
The Vikings certainly don’t have a problem scoring points, as it was their third straight contest registering at least 30 points. They won 36-12 and lost 36-30 and 34-30.
The game was played without the presence of head coach Cody Francis, who was tossed out of the game the week before against Mainstee and had to serve a one-game suspension.
Hopkins will resume O-K Silver Conference play this Friday at 7 p.m. by taking on Wyoming Godwin Heights on the Wolverines’ field.
