It wasn’t a good day for Hopkins Thursday at the This One invitational meet in Otsego.

The Viking boys finished fourth among four teams with 98 team points while the host school won it with 27. The Lady Vikings were third among three with 78 points and once again Otsego won with a perfect score of 15 points.

Junior Trevor Shealy was the top runner for the Hopkins boys, finishing the five-kilometer race in 18:32, good 14th place. Junior Adam Ball was 17th in 19:26, followed by junior Caleb Beilby in 29th, junior Zachary Wisser in 39th and sophomore Dean Heiden in 40th.

For the girls, freshman Helena Kerber led the way in 11th place with a time of 22:37. Senior Alexis Zalis was 19th, sophomore Neveah Helderop 25th, junior Mary Wells 27th and freshman Abigail Zalis 28th.
