Wayland High School seniors earned scholarships, received recognition for entering the military and were praised for their hard work throughout their high school careers the annual Senior Athletic and Academic Awards Ceremony Tuesday.
Some highlights include Kayla Shook receiving the Citizenship Award, Kaharrie Pureifoy receiving the Japinga Award, Elliot Antel receiving the Multer Award (photo above), Reese Coughlin and Ava Makowski receiving the Female Athletes of the Year Award, Brady Cassini the Male Athlete of the Year Award (photo below), and Faviola Ramirez being recognized as the first Wayland High School graduate to receive the Michigan Seal of Biliteracy (cover photo).
