Jayda Gale Distillery remodeling work continues downtown

The slow, but steady makeover continues for the Jayda Gale distillery at the corner of Pearl Street and South Main in downtown Wayland. The historic building, in most recent years home to Wayland Carpet & Appliance, is being remodeled into a restaurant and distillery. Co-owner Amanda Alfred reported, “We started removing the old picture windows, the new siding and windows should be delivered some time this week.” (Photo provided)
