John David Andringa, 70, of Wayland, dies after brief illness

photo_20150417_WM0036388_0_john_andringa_photo_20150417John David Andringa, age 70, of Wayland, died unexpectedly Thursday, April 16, after a brief illness.

John was a quiet man who loved nature, fishing and restoring furniture. He had a passion for classic cars, building four of his own.

He is survived by his son John D. Andringa Jr. and daughter Tabitha Hansen; grandsons Sebastian Andringa and Alex Andringa; brother Dick Andringa; sisters Barbara Mayo-Johnson and Stephanie (Larry) Potter; many nieces and nephews.

John wished no funeral service and cremation has taken place. He will be deeply missed and donations in his memory would be appreciated to Wings of Hope Hospice 530 Linn Street, Allegan, MI 49010.
