John E. Linder of Dorr, a 1973 graduate of Wayland High School, died Sunday, April 12. He was 64.Born on Dec. 30, 1955, he was beloved by many for his words of wisdom that gave hope and insight into so many things. He cherished his found family (friends) with all his heart. He loved fishing and being outdoors.
At the end he was loved and cared for by an amazing and wonderful woman he loved very much, Lauretta Lawrence.
He is survived by two daughters Jessica Watrous and Johni Bunch, many grandchildren and his sister, Sue Vandyke. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nikki Linder, his brother, James Linder, and both his parents John and Ronnie Linder.
No memorial will be set up at this time. His ashes will be laid to rest this summer in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
