The Wayland girls’ varsity bowling team took part in the Brunswick Regional Tune-up at Spectrum Lanes.

“This group worked hard and each one of them had some good moments and games today,” said coach Eric Bottrall. “I hope this experience shows them that they can bowl on this pattern and will do great at regionals.”

High games by were turned in by Lily Gates 122, Juliette Chapelin 172, Izzy Botwinski 176, Madison Bottrall 186, Haven Baker 189 and Kadence Bottrall 276. The ladies finished in individual competition as follows: Lily 96th, Madison 73rd, Juliette 60th, Haven 59th, Izzy 43rd and Kadence qualified first but finished second after match play.

The Wildcat boys bowl in the tuneup next week Sunday.
