Kelle Tobolic has been appointed to a seat on the Wayland Downtown Development Authority Board of Directors.

Tobolic, who formerly was a member of the Wayland City Planning Commission, succeeds Wayland Area Chamber of Commerce Director Denise Behm, whose four-year term expired in December. The four-year team of fellow director Arny Rodriguez also has expired.

Ingrid Miller, director of the Wayland Main Street program that works with the DDA, also told City Council members Monday night that the local program has earned state and national accreditation.
