Kenneth Jay Schuitema, aged 82, of Wayland, 
died at the Laurels of Sandy Creek Friday Oct. 21.
Surviving are his son, Steven Schuitema; daughters, Brenda Schuitema, Diane Jolly; grandchildren, Brett Humphey, Amber Nash, Josh Schuitema, Brad Schuitema, Mary Schuitema, Elisa Simon; great grandchildren, Phoenix Schuitema, Darin Gordin, Drayden Mc Daniel, and Jarvis Jr. Nash; brother, Robert Jay (Patti) Schuitema; sister, Mary Bowers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Josephine Schuitema; his wife, Eloise Schuitema; daughter, Nancy Schuitema; sister-in-laws, Fern Kortering and Dorothy Cotey.
