The Martin girls’ basketball team cruised to its 12th victory against two losses Tuesday night with a 52-29 non-conference decision over Potter’s House.

The Lady Clippers were never in trouble, jumping out to a 20-7 advantage in the first quarter and widening the gap to 32-12 at the half.

Junior forward Faith Guritz led the way offensively with 12 points and once again Martin was blessed with balanced scoring. Briana Warner had 11 points, including three threes, Natalie Yowler had nine and Jaclyn Hildebrand seven.

Guritz and Yowler both had five rebounds and Kiaya Warner came up with seven steals. Hildebrand dished out six assists and Kiaya Warner four.

Martin this season has not lost to a Class D opponent.
