The Martin High School girls’ bowling team now sports a spotless 14-0 overall record thus far this season.
The Lady Clippers Wednesday at the Rock ’N Bowl Lanes in Wayland defeated South Haven 19-11. The boys, however, suffered a 21-9 defeat.
Leading the girls’ team were Lauren Taylor with a 169, Zenaida Lemus a 165 and Ellyse Blackburn 158.
Top three rollers for the guys were Elliot Long 177, Zac Hale 173, Caiden Kuester 156.
Coach Damon Blackburn commented, “The boys varsity saw some great performances in the singles games, but couldn’t overcome a tough Bakers series… The girls varsity advanced their record to 14-0 by taking down the Rams in an extremely competitive and exciting game.”
The Clippers will be rolling today against Potter’s House at Park Center Lanes.
