The Hopkins High School varsity volleyball team got off to an excellent start Saturday in the North Pointe Christian Quad Invitational.
The Lady Vikings beat Greenville 3-2, beat O-K Silver Conference rival Northpointe Christian 3-0, and Cedar Springs 3-0 to capture first place in the quad meet.
Hopkins defeated Greenville 25-23, 19-25, 25-19, 17-25, 20-18, then bested NorthPointe Christian 26-24, 27-25, 25-23 and Cedar Springs 25-21, 25-16, 25-19.
