The Hopkins girls’ soccer team moved its overall season record to 6-4-2 with a 2-1 victory in double overtime over O-K Silver Conference rival Belding.

Scoring goals for the Lady Vikings were Heidi Gilder and Arika Hoffman. The latter score came on a penalty kick. It was the second time this season Hopkins has defeated Belding, both victories by just one goal.

The victory followed a 2-1 non-league loss to Hamilton, in which Hoffman scored the only Hopkins goal.
