The Hopkins girls’ basketball team Tuesday evening lost 42-35 to a NorthPointe opponent that is sharing the top of the O-K Silver Conference standings.
The Lady Vikings, with the loss, fell to 8-11 overall and 7-7 in league play.
NorthPointe leads the Silver standings with a record of 12-1 and is tied for the league championship with Calvin Christian.
Meanwhile, the Hopkins boys lost yet another nail biter, 46-43, to NorthPointe. It was the Vikings’ seventh loss this season by three of fewer points.
Hopkins guys now own a 6-15 overall record. Both girls’ and boys’ teams will conclude their O-K Silver season Friday against Calvin Christian.
