The Hopkins varsity softball team Saturday split in its two games in the Thornaplle Kellogg Invitational. The Vikings secured a 14-4 victory over Comstock Park, but then absorbed a 7-2 loss to host Thornapple Kellogg in their second game.
The Vikings now own an overall record of 8-5.
