The Hopkins girls’ varsity soccer team improved its overall record to 3-4-1 and 1-0-1 in the O-K Silver Conference with a 10 shutout win over Northpointe Christian Wednesday.
Amber Caywood scored the game’s only goal during the first half with an assist from Taryn Kilbane. Tiffany Barks was credited with two saves while posting the shutout in goal.
Hopkins Monday lost a nonleague match 2-0 to Black River Monday and had lost last Friday 6-1 in two nonleague encounters.
