The Hopkins varsity softball team hiked its league-leading record to 5-0 and 6-3 overall by sweeping a doubleheader against Kelloggsville Monday.

Kesley Dusseau threw all three innings in one game, gave up one hit, two walks and struck out four batters.

Madison Wyngarden had a double, Haleigh Miller had two singles and a double with four RBIs. Maddie Schans clubbed a homerun. Logan Brummel had a double and Caitlyn Rodanhisler had a double and a single

Wyngarden had two singles with 3 stolen bases. White had three singles. Schans had a single and two doubles with 3 RBIs. Brummel had a double and two singles. Caitlyn Rodanhisler smacked a home run.

The Lady Vikings will try to make it three in a row over O-K Silver Conference rival Kelloggsville n the Rockets’ field Wednesday afternoon.
