The record-setting Wayland High School junior varsity golf team set another record Monday afternoon.

The Lady Wildcats captured their 10th straight victory by besting Middleville Thornapple Kellogg by 35 strokes at their home Orchard Hills course. The streak is a record and the 10 dual match victories eclipses the old school seasonmark by one.

Ashleigh Graham fired a nifty 47 for nine holes of play to lead Wayland and take medalist honors. She was followed closely by Faith Stid, who had a personal best of 51, and Josie Melinn with a personal best of 52. Rylee Huston rounded out the scorers with a 53 as the team rocketed to victory.

The jayvee golfers checked in fifth at the Coopersville Invitational Saturday. Graham brought home some hardware for her eighth place finish with an 18-hold score of 103.
