Wayland High School senior Sydney Urben, the Division 2 individual state champion bowler this past winter, has been named to the Detroit Free Press “Dream Team.”

Urben was joined on the special unit by Macailin Rodriguez of Caledonia, Barbara Hawes of Flint Kearsley, Natalie Klein of Brighton, Caitlyn Lee of Ishpeming and Tiffany Lutz of Unionville-Sebawing.

Urben was a four-year member of the varsity and qualified for the state tournament, finishing as runner-up in her sophomore season. She average 207 for the year and had a high game of 290.
