The Wayland girls’ varsity tennis team came up with an 8-0 victory Friday in a non-league dual match against Lowell.

The Lady Wildcats bounced back from their defeat earlier in the week against O-K Gold powerhouse Grand Rapids Christian and boosted their overall dual record to 2-1.

In sweeping their singles matches, No. 1 Elena Campon won 6-0, 6-o; Rose Bolliger prevailed 6-1, 6-1; Lilly Bolliger 6-1, 6-0; Noelle Oman 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4.
Briget Ballone and Emily Staple won at No. 1 doubles, 7-5, 7-6 (7-2); Feiler and Kerber won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2; Lisa Mazzeo amd Richarda Zeppa and No. 4 Ali Wunk/Olivia Fox 6-0, 6-1.
