The Wayland girls’ varsity bowling team took part in two tournaments Monday and Tuesday. Both days the Lady Wildcats qualified third and lost in the semifinal round of match play.

“Two third place finishes is not bad,” coach Eric Bottrall said. “This group has so much potential and we need to learn from the past two events. Spares have not been our friend and they will get better at them with time.”

Meanwhile, Kadence Bottrall and Chandler Caruso (shown at left) were selected the all-tournament team Monday in the South Haven/Allegan tourney.
