The Hopkins Area Fire Department this past weekend responded to a truck vs. combine accident. Both drivers were out of the vehicles and walking around when firefighters arrived on scene. A department spokesperson said, “With the late harvest this year there are still many combines and other slow moving farm vehicles out on the roads. Please use extreme caution while driving near these vehicles as they drive at reduced speeds. Other area departments have ran on car vs combine calls recently as well so please be sure to drive safely when around these large vehicles.”
