Members of the Leighton Township Fire Department Monday night held a celebration for Rudy Banas’ retirement from LTFD after 32 years as an EMT and firefighter, helping his neighbors and citizens of Leighton. Fire Chief Matt Weston said, “We appreciate his service and commitment and wish him good luck as he takes on his next adventure!” Even former Chief Tony Banas showed up for the festivities.
