Leighton Township firefighters this morning rescued a stray dog that had fallen through the ice at Green Lake, with help from the Allegan County Sheriff’s Department. Firefighters said they dried the canine off at the station and got her warmed up. But now they’d like to hear from her owner so she can be returned home. They suggest calling animal control.
UPDATE: the owners of thel dog named Harley were found. She is now home.
