The Leighton Township Fire Department today released information about its activities for the year 2024, and just like Wayland.Yankee Springs, it is noting a record number of calls.
All area departments are busier than ever, and the reasons given most often are the practice of being first responders for medial calls and the population explosion seen in this area over the past several years.
The post said, “As we wrap up another record busy year we would like to share our statistics that portray how fast we are growing. The one constant that we have is all the support from our amazing community. It is a blessing to serve Leighton Township and we all thank you for giving us the opportunity.”
