The Leighton Township Board Thur
sday evening scheduled the public hearing on the 2016-17 fiscal year budget for 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, at the township hall.
The board originally had the hearing Thursday night prior to the regular meeting, but had to suspend it until next Wednesday in order to buy time to straighten out some confusion over B, S & A software expenses.
The board will have the hearing at 6 p.m., then a meeting to adopt the budget at 6:30 and then have its annual Green Lake Sewer Board meeting at 7 p.m.
