Lemon Lime
Sunshine Salad
Empty 1 pint of small curd cottage cheese into a large salad bowl of your choice.
Mix 1 dry 3 ounce package of jello any flavor, but the lemon lime has been the family’s favorite for years.
Stir in the sunshine! Add 1 – 20 ounce can of unsweetened – well drained – crushed pineapple.
Last, but not least, add 4 ounces of thawed whipped topping like cool whip. It usually comes in 8 ounce containers, so scoop out 1/2 and stir until all is incorporated and smooth. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours for the full flavor to pop before serving.
Grandma always made this the night before for family gatherings.
