Lilly seems to be getting better in New York experiment

This is an unusual photo of 10-year-old Lilly Vanden Bosch of Dorr, who is in New York to receive an experimental treatment for a virus she contracted earlier this year after undergoing a bone marrow transplant last November at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids. Her mother reported today on Facebook that Lilly’s condition has improved enough to enable her to step outside and get a glimpse of the Big Apple from outside a hospital window.
