‘Little Cats Concert’ at FAC features familiar orchestral fare

The Wayland High School Orchestra, directed by Karen Nofsinger, held its annual Little Cats Concert for elementary students Friday in the Wayland Union Fine Arts Center.  The children listened to the various sounds of the stringed instruments. They heard some familiar music from “The Little Mermaid” and watched the high school  students perform a short story of “The King” and “Felecia the Turtle.” Maddie Vacha also performed a cello solo from Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake.”
