In preparation for Wayland’s celebration of its 150 years as an incorporated muncipality, Wayland High School graduate Tess Marhofer, formerly known as the gifted chalk artist Tess Tobolic, directed a small of group of painters of this mural next to the Wayland Hotel on West Superiod Street. “What an incredible weekend!” she exclaimed. “It brought a huge smile to my face to see members of my hometown painting this mural with me. A very special thanks to Ingrid Miller and everyone with Wayland Main Street and Sherwin William’s for donating all of our paint and supplies!”
