The Wayland Inventors Network will have its next meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Vibrant Grains Restaurant, 142 S. Main St., Wayland.
Registration will be from 6 to 6:30, the program will be from 6:30 to 7:30, followed by networking. The program’s focus will be on: Taking an idea from concept to fruition requires more expertise than most individuals choose to pursue. So how does one accomplish the task?
The Wayland chapter of the inventors’ group now officially is called the Kalamazoo Inventors Network (KIN), which eventually could change when local members decide to give it a different name. It is affiliated with the Michigan Inventors Coalition and its the 10th group formed in the state.
Local member and organizer Virgil Gleason said, “WIN (Wayland Inventors Network) was our natural choice, yet (the name) has already been taken. Maybe, the Wayland Inventors Network “TWIN”? I look forward to listening to thoughts on a name, so please bring ideas to the meeting on Feb. 3.”
