Local man sings tribute to his hometown of Hopkins

Shawn Moulenbelt, son of Mimi Gabriel and Bruce Moulenbelt, has produced a song, “My Town,” which pays tribute to Hopkins, where he was raised for so many years. “I’ve seen quite a few folks sharing my new song and video…. so I figured I’d share it here as well. This is just a simple song about my hometown of Hopkins. As many times as I have left, I’ve always come back because for me, it just doesn’t get any better.” Moulenbelt, who now lives in nearby Wayland and is somewhat an expert in creating knives, is putting the song on You Tube, Spotify and Amazon.
