So it’s three days in a row for school closings for the Wayland, Hapkins and Martin public school districts Wednesday.
The continued dangerously low temperatures and wind chills have caused a third straight day of school idleness, and roads in rural areas have been difficult for motorists and bus drivers.
Wayland and Martin were closed Monday for professional development, All three districts were shut down Tuesday because of the weather.
