Longtime Catholic school teacher Marta Langlois dies

Marta M. Langlois, age 81, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, teacher and friend, died Friday, March 10.
She was born May 20, 1935, in Muskegon, the daughter of John and Maria (Picchinni) Paparella.
Marta was recognized in gratitude for her more than 41 years of dedicated teaching service at St. Mary’s Visitation and at St. Stanislaus Schools and her tireless support of the unborn.
She is survived by her children Mary (Eric) Villerius, Jeanine Marie Langlois, John (Kimberly) Langlois, Karen (Bob) Middendorp, Steven (Kelly) Langlois, 14 grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
Marta was preceded in death by her husband, Paul David Langlois and her so, Paul David Langlois Jr.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 16, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church 1871 136th Avenue, Dorr. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
Marta’s family will meet with friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with a rosary at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Dorr Chapel 4330 18th Ave., and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
