Longtime GM employee Claude Slack dies Dec. 2

Claude Slack, age 79, died Thursday, Dec. 2.

He was known as a helper to many friends and neighbors. Claude was retired from his position at General Motors, where he worked as a machine operator and many other titles for over 40 years. Claude enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He will be missed by daughter, Christine; son, Kevin; grandchildren Jay and Shane; great-grandchildren Jayden and Dora Lee Kay; as well as many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Dora Kay Slack.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project in Claude’s name.
