Longtime Keeler Brass employee David Ainsworth dies

David Lee Ainsworth, age 72, of Dorr, died Tuesday, Feb. 27.

David served in the U.S. Army for two years in the military police and retired from Keeler Brass after 42 years.

David will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Charlene; children, Dan (Jodi) Ainsworth, Julie (Matt) Lukaart, Jon Ainsworth, Thomas (Amber) Ainsworth; ten grandchildren; brothers, James (Joyce) Ainsworth, Fred (Linda) Ainsworth; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Martha Ainsworth; and brother, Carl.

The family will greet visitors from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at Crosswind Community Church, 1683 – 142 Ave., Dorr, where the funeral will begin at 2 pm. Pastor Kevin Guetschow will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
