Well known area musician Luke Lenhart, a graduate of Hopkins High School, is encouraging former Hopkins students and virtually anybody to a special luncheon at noon Saturday for former band teacher David Lowe at the Hilliards Corner Lounge.
Lowe, who conducted the junior high and high school bands, recently was diagnosed with brain cancer.
“All are welcome, especially any former students,” Lenhart posted on Facebook. “He would love to see family, friends, neighbors and former students.
