Thomas Kamyszek, age 68, of Wayland, died at his home after a brief battle with an aggressive form of stage 4 lung cancer.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie (Joling ) Kamyszek; children Brandon, Sarah, Collin and Hannah Kamyszek and step daughter Jorden Alessio; grandchildren Haley and Darren Kamyszek, Annika and Rayna Haynes; siblings Phil (Ruthie) Kamyszek, Edie (Dave) Edwards, Lawrence (Sharon) Kamyszek; brother and sister in laws Scott and Mimi Joling, Jeff and Linda Joling, Jim and Lisa Potter, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Florence Kamyszek, and brother David Kamyszek.

A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday June 25, at the Dorr Moose Lodge, 4204 20th St.
