Main Street construction to be paused on Election Day

City and state officials have announced that the construction on South Main Street will be paused on Election Day, Tuesday, May 2, to better allow voters to use the most recently added precinct, at the VFW Post No. 7581.

The project, largely funded by a grant from the Michigan Department of Transportation, will be the addition of a left turn lane on South Main from Sycamore to the south end of town on 133rd Avenue.
