Davenport University junior pitcher Mallory Teunissen has been named pitcher of the week for the third time season in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Association (GLIAC). Teunissen, who was an all-state hurler for the Division 2 state champion Wayland squad in 2015, pitched 24 innings over the past week week and struck out 18, while only walking three batters. Teunissen earned three wins and posted her 10th and 11th shutouts of the 2018 season.
