Martin Public Schools will be back in session in-person in the classrooms, as usual, on Monday, the first day after spring break.
Martin joins Wayland and Hopkins in declining a request by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and state health officials to pause in-person learning and sports activities for two weeks because of a recent surge in Coronavirus cases, particularly in those in high school age teens.
Martin has held in-person classes for most of the 2020-21 academic year, reasoning that it is a small district with small class sizes, thereby making management of spread a little easier.
Good old country common sense! Enough of this crap. Move on Whitmer, like out of Lansing!
