The girls’ basketball seasons for both Martin and Hopkins came to an end Wednesday evening in the district tournament.

Martin’s season ended with a 13-7 record overall after the Clippers lost 50-34 to Climax-Scotts in what amounted to a district finale. The two teams were the only ones competing in the district tourney at Martin.

Hopkins, in the district semifinals Wednesday night at Allegan, lost to the host school 55-38. Allegan and tourney favorite Otsego, 18-3, now will meet in the Class B district finals.

The MHSAA tournament bracket site reported the Lady Vikings as having a 5-11 record overall.
