Loreto and Simona Martinez will celebrate their 76th wedding anniversary Feb. 24. The Martin area couple has nine children, Dora, Stella, Mary, Aaron, Esther, Sara, Raquel, Norma, and Martha. Many are Martin High School graduates. The two were married in 1947 in Texas and soon after came to Michigan, spending their lives here as farmers.
