The Lady Clippers lost by 18 points, 44-26, to SAC girls’ basketball ruler Gobles Friday.

Martin coach Doug MacVean wasn’t pleased with what he saw, saying there was “no heart from Martin in the second half.”

Martin hoopsters Jaclyn Hildebrand and Faith Guritz both totaled 7 points, while Bri Warner had 6.

Junior Maddy Tiller led the Tigers in scoring with 13 points.

The Martin boys also lost to Gobles, ending at 53-45.

Continuing their road journey, both Clipper teams play Saugatuck on Tuesday.
