Martin High School graduate Stella Dailey, 59, dies in Allegan

Stella Dailey, a 30334511973 graduate of Martin High School, of Allegan, died Monday, April 13, at her home in Allegan.

Stella was born November 2, 1955, in Kalamazoo to Jerome and Anna Marie (McLaughlin) Bellgraph. She worked for more than 10 years at Upjohn Company in Kalamazoo, and at that time, she was the only woman that was certified in the United States as a Commercial Refrigeration Tech. She also owned and operated Stella’s Bistro in Allegan for more than 15 years.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; four children, Carly Fricano, Grant Fricano, Anna and Noel DeJarnette, and Mitchell Fricano; her granddaughter, Arissa; her father, Jerome Bellgraph; three brothers, Larry Bellgraph, Richard and Della Bellgraph, Ed Bellgraph; three sisters, Sue and Mike Zantello, Barb Little, Mary Bellgraph Brown; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Marie Bellgraph.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, April 17, at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Watson Township. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wings of Hope Hospice, 530 Linn St., Allegan, MI 49010.

Arrangements were by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
