Martin High School students Andrew Dykstra and Faith Guritz were regional and state champions in woodworking recently. Both entered woodworking projects in the MITES (Michigan Industrial and Technology Education Society) competitions and were all-around winners. Their work shined above hundreds of other projects. Andrew was awarded first in the 10th grade division, and Faith in the middle school division. They are both shown here with industrial arts instructor George Williston.
