The Martin Clipper Marching Band Saturday took first place out of five schools and swept all caption awards in the Class D competition at the East Kentwood Marching Invitational.
“Proud doesn’t begin to describe the feeling this band has right now,” director Noah Miller said. “Years of rebuilding and consistent dedicated work toward their craft has made the group that we are today.
“The fruit of our labor has fully ripened, and we are so excited to bring our pride and spirit back to the Martin community.”
