Those attending Vacation Bible School at Martin Reformed Church this week collected 571 bottles of dish detergent for the Martin Area Resource Center.
“Maker Fun Factory” taught kids that they are built for a purpose. Lessons were learned through engaging stories, fun games and snacks.
“Vacation Bible School is a unique event where kids from all walks of life come together for a few days in the summer to learn about Jesus… If we have touched at least one life this week, all the planning and preparing was worth it.” said Children’s Coordinator Sue DeVries, who is leaving her post after many years of service.
More than 100 kids from the community participated in the annual outreach event.
